The pictures in this gallery were all taken by me or when I appear by my husband; Delhi’s grandeur through Lutyens’s architecture will endure; I try to convey the sheer beauty and diversity of northern India be it in ancient forts and palaces or with the simple people in the country. Sunrises and sunsets are also spiritual times in India.

This series continues from the last one showing Rajasthan in all its beauty and diversity – fascinating to the first time traveller and a delight to which one can return.

India’s wildlife can be seen in 500 parks and sanctuaries; some of the very important ones being Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Ranthambhore, Corbett, Nagarahole, Bandipur, Kaziranga and Dandeli. I experienced ten sightings of tigers in 2002 of which I wrote in my second book India: The Tiger’s Roar. In 2006 we visited Nagarahole, Bandipur and Dandeli which are all in Karnataka. I care passionately about the wildlife of India and try to help create awareness of the vital importance of conservation.
